All-On-Four™

All-On-Four™ An Overview

Dr. Zachary Sisler offers advanced treatment options for tooth replacement, providing results that are durable, comfortable and natural looking. When replacing all of the upper or lower arch of teeth, dental implants can be incorporated to secure your new denture in a procedure known as All-On-Four™.

All-On-Four™ can provide a stable, implant supported denture in one day using strategically placed, angled dental implants. The use of dental implants provides several key benefits for your long term oral health and overall quality of life:

  • Stabilizes jaw bone to reduce loss and maintain your natural structure.
  • Permanently secures your new denture for a smile that stays in place- no fear of slippage.
  • Enables you to enjoy a normal, varied diet and speak clearly.
  • NO need for daily maintenance and adhesives.

If you have been suffering with a poor fitting denture, Dr. Sisler can replace it with an implant secured cosmetic denture using the All On Four process. Get back a smile that functions as naturally as it looks and gives you the confidence to eat, socialize and enjoy life without worrying about losing your teeth!

Real Patients, Real Results

“I have always had a problem with my teeth, as I matured those problems got worse…Dr. Sisler walked me through what my options were and explained them very carefully. Eventually, I decided to go with permanent implants and attached dentures.” Walt

All-On-Four™ What to Expect

Dr. Sisler will meet with you to evaluate your oral health needs and discuss your concerns and cosmetic goals before recommending the most suitable tooth replacement treatment. The key to the best possible result using a dental implant supported denture is thorough treatment planning. Dr. Sisler will incorporate digital photography into the design of your new smile so that the end result will blend with your overall appearance and provide a comfortable fit.

Dr. Sisler will coordinate the surgical placement of the dental implants with a local oral surgeon. A temporary denture will be placed after surgery to restore aesthetics and function while your bone tissue heals and integrates with the implanted post. A soft diet is typically recommended to avoid putting pressure on the new implants when chewing.

Once the bone and soft tissue has healed, Dr. Sisler will take a new set of impressions to allow for changes in the surface of the gums when making your new custom denture. Once this is ready, he will place the final denture in our Shippensburg dentist office. This second step offers two key benefits:

  • New impressions ensure a snug fit that accommodates the changes in the gums after the initial overdenture is placed.
  • The temporary denture is available if needed as a “back up” denture should your final restoration become damaged at some point or need adjusting.
